ABEC, a global leader in customized solutions and services for biopharmaceutical manufacturing, is expanding its U.S. manufacturing footprint with the grand opening of its newest facility in Wilson, North Carolina.

 

The official ribbon-cutting ceremony will mark a major milestone in the company's continued growth and commitment to the global biopharmaceutical industry.

 

The new Wilson facility strengthens ABEC's global manufacturing network and expands its ability to meet the growing demand for advanced biopharmaceutical manufacturing solutions. The site will support the production of industry-leading equipment, consumables, and integrated process solutions used by biopharmaceutical manufacturers around the world.

 

Located in one of the nation's fastest-growing life sciences regions, the Wilson facility represents a significant investment in both manufacturing capacity and the local community. In addition to increasing ABEC's ability to serve customers, the facility is expected to create new high-quality manufacturing and technical employment opportunities in eastern North Carolina.

The Wilson facility will manufacture bioprocess equipment and consumable products that play a critical role in the development and production of life-saving biologics, vaccines, and other advanced medicines. Its operations will complement ABEC's established manufacturing sites in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; Springfield, Missouri; Fermoy, Ireland; and Kells, Ireland.

 

Together, these facilities further strengthen ABEC's position as the biopharmaceutical industry's largest dedicated manufacturing network for process equipment and solutions, giving customers access to expanded capabilities and a broader global supply network.

 

With the opening of its Wilson facility, ABEC is not only increasing its manufacturing capacity—it is deepening its presence in a critical U.S. life sciences hub and positioning itself to play an even greater role in supporting the next generation of biopharmaceutical manufacturing.
