Injectable antipsychotic is therapeutically equivalent to Zyprexa IntraMuscular Injection; addresses a US market worth $25.4 million
Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Inc. has announced the launch of Olanzapine for Injection, 10 mg/vial, Single-Dose Vial in the United States, further expanding its injectables portfolio and strengthening its presence in the institutional healthcare market.
The newly launched product is bioequivalent and therapeutically equivalent to Zyprexa IntraMuscular Injection, the reference listed drug of Cheplapharm Registration GmbH approved under NDA 021253.
According to IQVIA sales data for the 12-month period ending May 2026, the Zyprexa IntraMuscular Injection market recorded annual sales of approximately US$25.4 million, highlighting the commercial opportunity for the generic product.
