Company’s oncology business also recorded significant growth, led by Jemperli (dostarlimab) and Zejula (niraparib), both launched in August last year
GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceuticals Ltd (GSK India) reported a strong performance for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, with revenue increasing 15% year-on-year to Rs. 924 crore and profit after tax (PAT) rising 24% to Rs. 253 crore, supported by robust growth across its General Medicines, Vaccines and Oncology portfolios.
The company reported an EBITDA margin of 32% during the quarter, reflecting continued progress in its portfolio transformation strategy, execution excellence and a favourable base effect from the corresponding period last year.
The General Medicines portfolio delivered strong growth, with GSK's top five promoted brands outperforming the market, according to IQVIA data. Leading brands including Augmentin, Ceftum and T-Bact strengthened their leadership positions through deeper scientific engagement with healthcare professionals, omnichannel execution and pricing initiatives.
In the Respiratory segment, Nucala (mepolizumab) continued to expand treatment access for patients with chronic respiratory diseases, while Trelegy Ellipta gained momentum through new access pathways.
The vaccines business maintained its leadership in the private paediatric vaccines market, driven by Infanrix Hexaand Fluarix Tetra. In adult immunisation, the company strengthened uptake of Shingrix by focusing on elderly patients with cardiovascular and metabolic diseases, resulting in increased endorsement from healthcare professionals.
GSK India's oncology business also recorded significant growth, led by Jemperli (dostarlimab) and Zejula (niraparib), both launched in August last year.
According to the company, Jemperli has become the leading immunotherapy for first-line primary advanced and recurrent endometrial cancer, while Zejula ranks among the leading PARP inhibitors for maintenance treatment of recurrent ovarian cancer.
