Strategic expansion strengthens CDMO’s support for biotech and pharma innovators across the Asia-Pacific region
ten23 health, a human-centric and sustainability-focused strategic CDMO partner for the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, has expanded its commercial presence in the Asia-Pacific region with the opening of a new office in Tokyo.
The move marks a key milestone in the company’s global growth strategy and is aimed at strengthening support for biotech start-ups and pharmaceutical companies across APAC.
As part of the expansion, the company has appointed Noriko Utsumi as Business Development Director for Japan and the broader Asia-Pacific region. She brings significant life sciences industry experience and a strong track record in client relationship building and regional business growth.
Commenting on the expansion, Hanns-Christian Mahler said the company is excited to establish a presence in Japan, one of the world’s leading hubs for pharmaceutical and biotechnology innovation.
In her new role, Utsumi will lead the expansion of commercial activities across the region, working closely with clients to support drug development and manufacturing requirements. Her understanding of local market dynamics and customer needs is expected to play an important role in accelerating the company’s growth in Asia.
