The company will unveil data from the Phase III REMODEL-1 and REMODEL-2 trials

Novartis is set to present 46 abstracts from its multiple sclerosis (MS) portfolio at MSToronto2026, the 10th Joint ACTRIMS-ECTRIMS Meeting, including late-breaking Phase III results for remibrutinib that could further strengthen the case for the investigational treatment.

The company will unveil data from the Phase III REMODEL-1 and REMODEL-2 trials in a late-breaking presentation, highlighting the potential of remibrutinib and Novartis’ continued push to expand treatment options for people living with MS.

A second late-breaking abstract will focus on Kesimpta (ofatumumab) in pediatric MS, an area where significant treatment gaps remain. The new findings are expected to add to the growing body of evidence around the therapy.

Additional presentations will broaden the Kesimpta evidence base, including studies examining pregnancy outcomes and breastfeeding. The research is aimed at providing further evidence to help people with MS make informed decisions around family planning.

Novartis will also present data comparing Kesimpta with disease-modifying therapies commonly used as first-line treatments in patients who have not previously received treatment.

“For decades, Novartis has helped shape the treatment landscape for people living with multiple sclerosis through scientific innovation,” said Nazem Atassi, Global Head, Neuroscience and Gene Therapy Development, Novartis.

“At MSToronto2026, we are sharing Phase III results from REMODEL-1 and REMODEL-2 evaluating remibrutinib, an oral BTK inhibitor, alongside new evidence across our MS portfolio. Together, these data reflect our continued commitment to addressing unmet needs across different stages of life and disease.”
