Under the proposed three-year collaboration, Sanofi will provide Tricog Health with mentorship, market access support and potential financial investment
Sanofi Healthcare India Pvt. Ltd. has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Tricog Health, a startup identified under the Bharat Innovates initiative, to support the development and scaling of homegrown healthcare innovation in India.
The LOI was signed in the presence of Sebastien Coisne, Finance Business Partner, International Pharma – General Medicines, Sanofi, and senior officials from IIT Kanpur.
Sanofi connected with Tricog Health during the Bharat Innovates 2026 summit, where the Ministry of Education, Government of India, showcased 120 Indian deep-tech startups on a global platform in France.
Under the proposed three-year collaboration, Sanofi will provide Tricog with mentorship, market access support and potential financial investment. Tricog Health develops and provides virtual cardiac diagnostic tools and services that combine artificial intelligence with medical expertise.
The partnership is aimed at strengthening India's startup and entrepreneurship ecosystem while helping accelerate the adoption and scale-up of technology-led healthcare solutions. It also comes during the India-France Year of Innovation 2026, a bilateral initiative that places innovation at the centre of the two countries' economic and strategic engagement.
Deepak Arora, Managing Director, Sanofi India, said the partnership reflects Sanofi's belief in bringing together science, enterprise and public purpose to drive healthcare innovation.
“At Sanofi, we believe that the most transformative breakthroughs happen at the intersection of science, enterprise, and public purpose. This partnership with Tricog Health is a testament to our conviction in public-private collaboration as a driving force for change,” Arora said.
He added that India's healthcare innovation ecosystem is moving from ambition towards execution, with artificial intelligence acting as an accelerator for solutions that can serve both domestic and global markets.
Prateek Golecha, Chief Growth Officer, Tricog Health, said the partnership with Sanofi marks an important milestone for the company and validates its focus on translating technology-led innovation into better patient outcomes.
He said Sanofi's healthcare expertise, scientific ecosystem and market reach, combined with Tricog's AI-powered cardiac diagnostic capabilities, could help expand access to cardiac care in India and international markets.
