Partnership enters its ninth year after training over 2,200 young people and enabling employment for more than 1,750 beneficiaries through nursing assistant and digital skills programs
BD India/South Asia has reaffirmed its commitment to community development and youth empowerment by celebrating the successful completion of the eighth year of its skill development partnership with the HOPE Foundation.
The initiative, which focuses on enhancing employability among economically disadvantaged youth, has trained more than 2,200 students since its launch in 2018 and helped over 1,750 beneficiaries secure jobs.
As part of the latest graduation ceremony, BD India and the HOPE Foundation felicitated 264 students who successfully completed training in Nursing Assistant and Tally operating computer skills. The graduates were awarded certificates and trophies in recognition of their dedication and achievements.
The program forms a key part of BD India/South Asia’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) efforts, which focus on creating sustainable impact in the areas of education, healthcare, and environmental stewardship.
Through the partnership, young adults from East Delhi are provided free skill-based training designed to improve their employment prospects and enable sustainable livelihoods.
Atul Grover, Managing Director, BD India/South Asia said, “We are extremely proud of our partnership with the HOPE Foundation where we are working with a like- minded partner to upskill the youth and enable them to earn sustainable livelihoods.”
“At the graduation ceremony, it was inspiring to witness the journeys of the students and hear first-hand the positive impact this program has had on enhancing their employability and confidence,” Grover added further.

Wungchipem (Apem), Director Skill Development North & East India, Hope Foundationsaid, “The partnership with BD has been instrumental in empowering youth by providing skill-based training in Nursing Assistant and Tally. This collaboration not only enhanced employability but also opened avenues for sustainable livelihoods.”
The two courses offered by Project HOPE - Nursing Assistant (NA) and Tally training are run in parallel for three months each. The criteria to offer the free courses to students is one, a 10th class pass certificate and two, a demonstrable economic need.
