New appointments bring diagnostics and medtech expertise to strengthen healthcare delivery and policy engagement
NATHEALTH, the apex body representing the Indian healthcare industry, has announced the expansion of its Leadership Team for FY 2026–27 following its recent Governing Council meeting.
As part of this development, Shankha Banerjee, CEO of Dr. Lal Path Labs Ltd., has been appointed as Treasurer, and Mandeep Singh Kumar, Managing Director and Vice President of Medtronic India, has been appointed as Secretary.
They join the leadership team led by Dr. Sangita Reddy, Joint Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals Group, who continues as President.
The expanded Leadership Team now comprises Dr Sangita Reddy as President, Himanshu Baid as Senior Vice President, Varun Khanna as Vice President, Shankha Banerjee as Treasurer, and Mandeep Singh Kumar as Secretary.
Siddhartha Bhattacharya will continue as Secretary General of NATHEALTH, leading the Secretariat’s efforts to build strategic partnerships, strengthen regional stakeholder engagement, and collaborate with policymakers to drive the next phase of healthcare development in India.
