More than 50% of cashless pre-authorisation requests are now processed in under five minutes, enabling patients to be admitted and begin treatment more quickly

Medi Assist Healthcare Services has launched upgraded versions of its AI-powered healthcare platforms—MAven Intelligent Document Processing (MAven IDP), MAgnum and MAven Guard—to enhance the cashless healthcare experience for insurers, hospitals and patients.

The company said the latest technology enhancements are aimed at making cashless healthcare more accessible, transparent and efficient by streamlining processes ranging from hospital admission and pre-authorisation to claims processing and fraud detection.

According to Medi Assist, the impact of its AI-led transformation is already visible. More than 50% of cashless pre-authorisation requests are now processed in under five minutes, enabling patients to be admitted and begin treatment more quickly.

The company also reported an improved Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 67 for its claims experience, reflecting higher levels of customer satisfaction, while calls from claimants have declined by over 60%, indicating a smoother claims journey.

"At Medi Assist, we've always believed that technology should make healthcare more accessible, not more complex," said Satish Gidugu, Chief Executive Officer, Medi Assist Group. He said the company's digital transformation began by simplifying hospital discharge through Raksha Prime and has now expanded across the entire cashless healthcare journey, from admission and authorisation to claims adjudication and fraud detection.

Among the new enhancements, MAven IDP uses artificial intelligence to read and standardise hospital documents into structured clinical summaries, enabling claims teams to make faster and more consistent authorisation decisions.

The upgraded MAgnum platform provides hospitals with real-time visibility into patients' eligibility for Raksha Prime, claim status and payment updates, enabling healthcare providers to deliver cashless treatment with greater transparency and fewer administrative queries.

Meanwhile, the latest version of MAven Guard strengthens claims integrity by detecting fraud, waste and abuse with up to 50% greater precision, helping insurers process genuine claims more quickly while safeguarding the healthcare ecosystem.
