The precision health platform integrates genetics, biomarkers, diet, and lifestyle data to deliver personalised gut health interventions and therapy support
Project Serotonin has announced the launch of its first specialised Gut Health Protocol, developed on its eighth-generation AI/ML-enabled precision health platform, marking a significant expansion into personalised preventive healthcare.
The company has partnered with Smiles Institute of Gastroenterology, one of India’s leading gastroenterology centres, to deploy the protocol across patient care pathways under the clinical stewardship of Dr CM Parameshwara.
According to the company, the Gut Health Protocol is the first in a broader pipeline of specialised precision health protocols designed to function as therapy adjuncts across multiple health domains. The platform combines genetic analysis with blood and urine biomarkers, dietary patterns, age, gender, and lifestyle variables to create highly personalised health interventions.
The protocol identifies inherited predispositions to digestive disorders and contextualises them using biomarker data to recommend targeted dietary modifications, supplements, and lifestyle interventions aimed at addressing root biological causes rather than symptoms alone. The recommendations are continuously refined through longitudinal data tracking and user outcomes.
Commenting on the development, Dr Ashwat Visvanathan said the company’s proprietary genetic models help decode an individual’s biological makeup to enable precision interventions for gut-related conditions through tailored nutrition, supplements, and lifestyle optimisation.
Dr CM Parameshwara said the platform’s genetics-first and biomarker-driven methodology complements existing clinical interventions and introduces a precision health layer that can enhance long-term patient outcomes and treatment journeys.
