AIG Hospitals has announced a collaboration with Johnson & Johnson to implement Polyphonic Surgery, the flagship solution within the Polyphonic digital ecosystem for surgery, aimed at enabling secure surgical video recording, review, collaboration, learning and knowledge-sharing among surgical teams.
AIG Hospitals will be among the early centres in India and the wider Asia-Pacific region to implement the digital ecosystem for surgical procedures, marking a step towards the adoption of connected technologies and surgical intelligence.
The platform brings surgical video, case-based review, team collaboration, learning resources and structured feedback together within a centralised digital environment. The system is designed to support surgical teams throughout the procedure lifecycle, from review and learning to collaboration and knowledge sharing.
Through hands-on implementation and ongoing engagement with surgeons, operating room teams, residents, information technology professionals and hospital leadership, AIG Hospitals will evaluate how connected digital technologies can contribute to clinical excellence and operational effectiveness.
