Sri City is strengthening its healthcare ecosystem as it continues to grow into a major industrial and residential hub in southern India, with Apollo TeleHealth extending an integrated model of physical and digital care to the region.
Located along the Andhra Pradesh–Tamil Nadu border, Sri City spans nearly 10,000 acres and supports over 70,000 employees and residents across 22 villages and 7 panchayats. With a base of 250 factories, two universities, and more than 20 schools, the region has rapidly evolved into a significant economic cluster, increasing the demand for structured and accessible healthcare services.
To address this, the Integrated Medical & Wellness Centre in Sri City will deliver a blend of on-site and connected care. The facility will offer outpatient consultations, diagnostics, X-ray services, pharmacy access, visiting specialists, and tele-consultations. It will also include 24×7 emergency stabilisation supported by Tele-ER services, along with a 5G-enabled ambulance and trauma response system. The broader model incorporates occupational health camps, workplace wellness programmes, social health education, and preventive health check-ups.
“This initiative reflects our commitment to supporting a healthier, more productive industrial ecosystem, while extending the benefits of quality healthcare to surrounding villages and communities. Through this presence, we seek to serve not just the healthcare needs of industry, but also to touch the lives of countless families with compassion, clinical excellence, and the enduring trust that define Apollo,” said Dr Prathap C Reddy, Founder and Chairman, Apollo Hospitals.
“We are confident this initiative will deliver significant benefits to both the Sri City community and the large rural population in the surrounding region. With Apollo, we deliver on that promise and welcome a healthier region,” said Dr Ravindra Sannareddy, Managing Director, Sri City.
