Aster DM revenue jumps 20% to Rs. 2,597 crore & EBITDA surges 30%

Aster DM Quality Care, one of India’s leading integrated healthcare providers, has reported a robust performance for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, with its combined proforma operations delivering strong growth across key financial and operational parameters.
The company reported a 20% year-on-year increase in revenue to Rs. 2,597 crore in Q1 FY27, while operating EBITDA rose 30% YoY to Rs. 576 crore. The operating EBITDA margin expanded by 170 basis points to 22.2%, reflecting improved operational efficiency and scale benefits following the merger.
Excluding Kasargod Hospital, operating EBITDA grew 31% YoY, with margins improving to 22.4%, up 190 basis points compared with the previous year. The company also highlighted that Kasargod Hospital achieved monthly EBITDA break-even within the ninth month of operations.
Aster DM Quality Care reported a ROCE of 22.9%, an improvement of 246 basis points YoY. The merger of Aster DM Healthcare and Quality Care became effective on July 1, 2026, creating a larger integrated healthcare platform.

The Aster DM Healthcare business recorded a 22% YoY growth in revenue to Rs. 1,311 crore in Q1 FY27.
Key highlights include operating EBITDA, excluding Kasargod, increased 30% YoY to Rs. 279 crore. Normalised PAT, excluding Kasargod, increased 46% YoY to Rs. 131 crore.
Average Revenue Per Patient (ARPP) for in-patients rose 10% YoY to Rs. 1,30,352. Total patient volumes increased 16% YoY.
Mature hospitals reported 19% revenue growth YoY. Emerging hospitals recorded 95% revenue growth YoY. Quality Care also delivered strong momentum during the quarter, with revenue growing 19% YoY to Rs. 1,287 crore.
With the merger now complete, Aster DM Quality Care aims to leverage its expanded network, clinical expertise and technology capabilities to accelerate growth while strengthening its position in India’s healthcare sector.
