CARE Hospitals, Malakpet inaugurates Advanced MICU to strengthen critical care infrastructure in Hyderabad

CARE Hospitals, Malakpet, has inaugurated its Advanced Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU), enhancing access to high-acuity care for critically ill patients in Hyderabad.

The new Advanced MICU has been established in response to the growing incidence of severe infections, respiratory illnesses, cardiac emergencies, sepsis and multi-organ failure, where rapid intervention and continuous monitoring are critical for improving patient outcomes.

The facility was inaugurated by Ahmed Bin Abdullah Balala, MLA, Malakpet Assembly Constituency, in the presence of Dr. Pawan Kumar, CEO (India II), Aster DM Quality Care Limited; Rajeev Shourey, Head – Quality & Patient Safety; Nilesh Gupta, Regional CEO; Praveen Kumar Edla, COO, CARE Hospitals, Malakpet; Shaik Mohinuddin Abrar, Corporator, Azampura; Dr. Sridhar, Medical Superintendent; Dr. Vajrapu Rajendra, Senior Consultant & HOD – Critical Care, along with senior doctors and hospital staff.

Equipped with advanced patient monitoring systems, modern life-support technologies and contemporary critical care infrastructure, the unit will provide round-the-clock intensive care through a multidisciplinary team comprising experienced intensivists, specialist physicians and trained critical care nurses. 

The facility is designed to manage a broad spectrum of complex medical emergencies while delivering coordinated, evidence-based care.
