New Centre of Excellence brings advanced robotic platforms and multidisciplinary expertise under one roof to expand access to precision-led minimally invasive surgery
Fortis Escorts Hospital, Faridabad has launched the Fortis Institute of Robotic Surgery, a dedicated Centre of Excellence established under its ‘Future of Surgery’ initiative, aimed at advancing minimally invasive surgical care through cutting-edge technology and multidisciplinary expertise.
The institute represents a significant investment in next-generation surgical infrastructure, bringing together advanced robotic platforms, specialized operating environments, and experienced surgical teams to perform highly precise procedures across multiple specialties.
Designed as the first integrated robotic surgery programme of its kind in the Faridabad region, the institute will offer robotic-assisted interventions in Oncology, General and Gastrointestinal Surgery, Urology, Orthopaedics, Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery (CTVS), ENT, and Gynaecology. The programme is supported by advanced imaging systems, sophisticated diagnostics, and comprehensive peri-operative care to enhance patient outcomes.
