KIMS Hospitals (Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences), Mahadevapura, has unveiled its new Institute of Neurosciences and Centre of Excellence in Neuromodulation, a landmark step in advancing specialized neurological care in the region. 

 

The state-of-the-art facility promises comprehensive diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation for a wide range of neurological disorders under one roof.

 

The center is equipped to treat patients with conditions including Parkinson’s disease, epilepsy, and chronic pain, offering advanced interventions such as neuromodulation and minimally invasive surgery. A multidisciplinary team of neurologists, neurosurgeons, and rehabilitation specialists will drive its operations.

 

The launch coincided with an event commemorating World Parkinson’s Day on April 11, titled Celebrating the Strength of Patients Living with Parkinson’s Disease. The program provided patients and caregivers a platform to share their stories while raising awareness of Parkinson’s disease and showcasing the latest advancements in neurosciences.

 

Kala Krishnaswamy, IPS (DIG Crime), inaugurated the center in the presence of Chief Guest Prashanth Prakash, along with Dr Nitish Shetty and Sreenath Reddy.
