Discussions focus on integrating ECG diagnostics into AI-enabled E-ICU Command Centre and expanding technology-driven healthcare access across underserved regions
Yashoda Medicity hosted senior leaders from GE Healthcare and Wipro GE Healthcare for strategic discussions aimed at advancing healthcare innovation and strengthening a partnership that has spanned more than three decades.
The interaction focused on leveraging digital technologies and artificial intelligence to improve critical care delivery and expand access to advanced healthcare services across India.
The delegation included Catherine Estrampes, Chief Commercial & Growth Officer, GE Healthcare; Raghavendra Rao V.S., Chief Operating Officer, Distribution, Wipro GE Healthcare; and Ritu Maheshwari, Secretary, Department of Medical Health and Family Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
They met with Dr. P.N. Arora, Chairman and Managing Director, Yashoda Medicity; Dr. Upasana Arora, Managing Director, Yashoda Medicity; along with senior hospital leadership and clinicians.
A key focus of the discussions was GE Healthcare’s Make in India initiative and the shared commitment of both organizations to improve access to affordable, technology-enabled healthcare solutions.
One of the major highlights was the planned enhancement of Yashoda Medicity’s AI-enabled E-ICU Command Centre through the integration of ECG diagnostic data generated by GE Healthcare systems.
The integration is expected to strengthen real-time patient monitoring, enabling specialists to remotely review ECG reports and provide immediate clinical guidance in critical situations.
The E-ICU ecosystem is designed to facilitate the seamless transmission of ECG data from hospitals and clinics to a centralized command centre at Yashoda Medicity. Specialists can instantly analyze reports, identify urgent cases, and guide frontline healthcare teams, helping ensure timely interventions during critical care situations.
