The device delivers clear, high-quality images to support accurate diagnoses across a broad range of patient groups

FUJIFILM Sonosite has introduced its latest portable ultrasound device, the Sonosite MT, expanding its existing range of point-of-care imaging systems that include the Sonosite PX, LX, and ST models.

Designed in a clamshell style, the Sonosite MT offers flexible use both with and without its stand. Its compact and lightweight build enables healthcare staff to easily move it between locations, ensuring accessibility and convenience in fast-paced clinical environments. The device delivers clear, high-quality images to support accurate diagnoses across a broad range of patient groups.

The Sonosite MT features a fully touchscreen interface harmonised with the broader FUJIFILM Sonosite portfolio. The absence of buttons on the monitor and control panel simplifies cleaning and disinfecting, helping healthcare providers manage infection risks effectively.

Integrated with Synapse Synchronicity, FUJIFILM’s workflow manager, the device streamlines daily operations, improving efficiency and coordination in healthcare facilities.

Commenting on the launch, Richard Fabian, President and CEO of FUJIFILM Sonosite, said:

“At FUJIFILM Sonosite, our mission is to empower clinicians with ultrasound systems that perform reliably in the most demanding clinical settings. Sonosite MT exemplifies this mission by integrating our core product pillars—durability, reliability, and ease of use. This new system continues our journey of excellence, providing a portable ultrasound platform that supports both clinical confidence and operational efficiency.”

FUJIFILM Sonosite distributes its products in more than 100 countries worldwide. The launch of Sonosite MT reinforces the company’s ongoing commitment to advancing point-of-care ultrasound by equipping healthcare professionals with reliable imaging tools.

In March 2025, FUJIFILM Healthcare Americas announced a partnership with Singapore-based Us2.ai to incorporate AI-driven image analysis into its LISENDO 880 and LISENDO 800 cardiovascular ultrasound platforms, aiming to enhance heart disease diagnostic workflows.
