Maverick Simulation Solutions, a leading manufacturer of advanced medical simulators, has successfully installed India’s first anatomage table at Vardhman Mahavir Medical College (VMMC) and Safdarjung Hospital, Delhi NCR.
The installation was inaugurated by Punya Salila Srivastava, Secretary (Health), during the launch of the hospital’s Virtual Clinical Anatomy Laboratory, marking a major leap in the digital transformation of medical education and clinical training.
The anatomage table is one of the most advanced 3D real-tissue–based anatomy visualization systems in the world. It allows users to perform full-body virtual dissections, explore high-resolution 3D anatomical structures, and correlate cross-sectional and radiological images using real human data. Designed for medical education and research, the system includes interactive learning modules that enable students and educators to study human anatomy in a detailed, immersive, and safe environment—eliminating many limitations of traditional cadaver-based learning.
Beyond education, hospitals and medical institutions can leverage the anatomage table for pre-surgical planning, case-based discussions, and patient education. By visualizing patient-specific anatomy in 3D, clinicians can make more informed decisions, enhancing diagnostic accuracy and surgical precision. The technology also fosters multidisciplinary collaboration, providing a unified digital platform for teams to analyze clinical cases in real time.

With this installation, VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital becomes the first medical college in Delhi NCR to adopt this state-of-the-art anatomy visualization technology, reaffirming its commitment to academic excellence and healthcare innovation.
The inauguration also witnessed the opening of the hospital’s Burns OPD Block, a modern facility equipped with specialized dressing suites, a 10-bed emergency unit, and dedicated physiotherapy and rehabilitation centers—further strengthening Safdarjung Hospital’s focus on comprehensive patient care.
