Exclusive alliance pairs Motorica's upper-limb expertise with TEHLIN's six-decade legacy in lower-limb prosthetic technology, creating a shoulder-to-foot portfolio for Indian patients

Motorica, a MedTech company specializing in assistive technologies and medical cybernetics, has been named the exclusive representative of TEHLIN Prosthetics in India, marking a significant expansion of prosthetic care options available to patients across the country.

Under the agreement, Motorica will oversee the promotion, availability, servicing and support of TEHLIN's lower-limb prosthetic solutions in the Indian market.

TEHLIN, a Taiwan-based manufacturer with more than 60 years of experience in prosthetic and orthotic design, brings a portfolio spanning knee joints, carbon feet and gel liners.

The partnership joins two distinct strengths: Motorica's established expertise in upper-limb prosthetics and its growing network of clinical partners in India, with TEHLIN's decades of engineering experience in lower-limb technology.

For TEHLIN, Motorica offers deep familiarity with the Indian market, existing relationships with clinics, and the on-the-ground infrastructure needed to support the brand. For Motorica, the alliance extends its offering beyond upper-limb devices, allowing the company to provide comprehensive lower-limb solutions as part of a broader technology portfolio.

As TEHLIN's exclusive representative, Motorica will serve as the official channel for product access, supply, professional servicing and support — positioning the collaboration as a long-term strategic alliance rather than a simple distribution deal.

"This partnership is ultimately about creating a more complete solution for patients," said Ruslan Babintsev, CEO of Motorica India. "By combining Motorica's expertise in upper-limb prosthetics with TEHLIN's lower-limb technologies, we can address a wider range of clinical needs through one partner.”

“For Motorica, the launch of this alliance marks the next stage in our development in India, expanding our offering and strengthening our ability to provide comprehensive prosthetic solutions for patients and healthcare professionals across the country,” added Babintsev.

Brien Chen, General Manager of TEHLIN, echoed the sentiment: "India is a strategically important market for TEHLIN, and our partnership with Motorica will help bring advanced lower-limb prosthetic technologies closer to patients and professionals across the country. Our shared vision of expanding patient capabilities and delivering customised, patient-focused solutions makes Motorica an ideal partner for TEHLIN in India."
