Owlet’s push comes as parents demand smarter, more dependable nursery tech

Owlet, a leader in smart infant monitoring, has teamed up with OpenSynergy to supercharge connectivity in its upcoming Dream Sight camera baby monitor.

The company will leverage OpenSynergy’s Blue SDK, an industry-leading Bluetooth software stack, to deliver secure, reliable connections across thousands of smartphones.

Owlet’s push comes as parents demand smarter, more dependable nursery tech. By integrating Blue SDK, the company says it has streamlined setup, strengthened connection stability, and accelerated development timelines—all while maintaining top-tier security.

"Integrating OpenSynergy’s Blue SDK allowed us to focus on delivering a secure, simple user experience while supporting future Bluetooth features,” said Burc Sahinoglu, CTO of Owlet.

The pre-qualified Blue SDK also sped up Bluetooth certification and compliance processes. OpenSynergy’s team continuously monitors vulnerabilities, ensuring ongoing security for Owlet’s connected devices.

For OpenSynergy, the partnership highlights the adaptability of its enterprise-grade Bluetooth technology beyond automotive and industrial sectors, now powering cutting-edge consumer products.

"We are thrilled to contribute to Owlet’s mission to create innovative and dependable connected baby monitors,” said Matthias Stumpf, Vice President of Sales at OpenSynergy. “Our collaboration demonstrates how robust, portable Bluetooth technology can help consumer brands, like Owlet, achieve faster time-to-market while giving parents greater peace of mind.”
