Two-year collaboration will support pan-India clinical education and knowledge exchange in fluorescence-guided surgery

Stryker has partnered with the Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists (IAGE) to strengthen surgeon education and clinical capabilities in fluorescence-guided surgery (FGS) in gynaecology.

The partnership was announced during the Pelvic Organ Prolapse Conference 2026 in Chennai, in the presence of around 350 gynaecological surgeons and healthcare professionals from across India.

Under the two-year collaboration, Stryker and IAGE will conduct pan-India clinical education initiatives focused on fluorescence-guided surgery.

The programme will provide participating surgeons with opportunities to learn from leading Indian and international experts, exchange clinical knowledge and gain exposure to global best practices in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery.

Fluorescence-guided surgery is gaining importance in gynaecology by enabling enhanced intraoperative visualisation, which can support surgical precision and clinical decision-making during complex procedures.

Aman Rishi, Vice President & General Manager, India, Stryker, said the partnership reflects the need to complement technological innovation with continuous clinical capability building.

“At Stryker, we believe technology delivers its greatest value when healthcare professionals are equipped to use it with confidence and precision. Through our collaboration with IAGE, we look forward to expanding access to structured training in fluorescence-guided surgery and supporting surgeons in delivering high-quality care for patients across India,” he said.

Dr. Sudha Tandon, President, IAGE, said advances in minimally invasive gynaecological surgery require continuous learning and structured training for clinicians.

“Through our partnership with Stryker, we look forward to creating a strong platform for education and knowledge exchange of fluorescence-guided surgery and advancing the standard of gynaecological care across India,” she said.
