The new facility increases the company's xanthine derivatives manufacturing capacity to 9,600 TPA, positioning Aarti Pharmalabs among the world's top three manufacturers in the segment
Aarti Pharmalabs Limited has inaugurated a new state-of-the-art manufacturing block at its Tarapur Unit 5 facility in Maharashtra, significantly expanding its production capacity for xanthine derivatives.
Located at MIDC Tarapur (Plot No. L-28/29/99), the new manufacturing block has an annual production capacity of 3,600 tonnes per annum (TPA) for xanthine derivatives.
With the commissioning of the new facility, the company's total manufacturing capacity has increased to 9,600 TPA, positioning Aarti Pharmalabs among the top three global manufacturers of xanthine derivatives.
The company said it has secured all the necessary statutory approvals and permissions required to commence operations at the new facility.
Trial production has already begun, with commercial ramp-up expected over the next few quarters to achieve optimal capacity utilisation.
