Bajaj Healthcare Limited (BHL), a leading manufacturer of APIs, Intermediates and Formulations, has announced the successfully completion of construction of alkaloid extraction plant at Vadodara, Gujarat Unit.
The company has constructed Alkaloid Extraction plant at its Vadodara Unit situated at Gujarat. The plant has a capacity for extraction of 2500 mt of poppy straw and 300 mt poppy gum per year.
Commenting on the above business update, Mr. Anil Jain, Joint Managing Director, Bajaj Healthcare said: "I am happy to announce that we successfully completed construction of Alkaloid Extraction plant at Vadodara, Gujarat Unit. This Plant is the biggest Manufacturing plant of Alkaloids from Concentrated Poppy Straw in India.
Construction of this manufacturing plant is done in record time and it is equipped with modern facilities.
“We expect profitability of the company to go up significantly by the contribution from this plant from the current year.
