Biocon Malaysia bags UK MHRA nod for new Insulin fill-finish line

The UK MHRA has granted commercial production approval to Biocon Malaysia’s new insulin fill-finish facility. This regulatory milestone validates the plant's operational capacity to manufacture and package Semglee® (insulin glargine). Coming just two months after securing a similar clearance from the EMA, this approval allows Biocon to directly enter the UK market and strengthen its global diabetes care supply chain.

IOL Chemicals secures EDQM certification for fenofibrate-process II to expand European reach

IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited secured a Certificate of Suitability from the European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines & Health Care (EDQM) for its Fenofibrate active pharmaceutical ingredient under Process II on September 24, 2026.

NATCO Pharma greenlights Rs. 1,279.36 crore rights issue at Rs. 750 per share

NATCO Pharma Limited has secured board approval to finalize the terms of its upcoming rights issue, aiming to raise Rs. 1,279.36 crore. The capital will be raised through the issuance of 1,70,58,082 fully paid-up equity shares priced at Rs. 750 each. In terms of fund utilization, the company has earmarked a major portion—Rs. 810.50 crore—to prepay or repay its outstanding debt, while Rs. 110.00 crore will be directed toward accelerating its research and development (R&D) initiatives.
