IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals obtains EU-REACH registration for Triacetin

IOL Chemicals and Pharmaceuticals Limited has successfully obtained the EU-REACH registration for its product, Triacetin, from the European Chemicals Agency (ECHA). The certification satisfies the mandatory environmental and health compliance benchmarks required under the Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) framework. Triacetin is not primarily used as an active drug; instead, it can act as a solvent, plasticizer, humectant, formulation aid and flavouring agent, depending on the application.

Dr. Lal PathLabs acquires 70% stake in SN Genelab for up to Rs. 168 Cr

Diagnostic healthcare provider Dr. Lal PathLabs Limited announced the acquisition of a 70 percent equity stake in SN Genelab Private Limited from its existing shareholders. Following the completion of the transaction, SN Genelab will become a subsidiary of Dr. Lal PathLabs. The acquisition aims to strengthen Dr. Lal PathLabs’ core expertise in genomics and expand its broader portfolio of advanced diagnostic services.
