Company says active ingredient is clearly disclosed on all Aciloc packs and pledges full cooperation with authorities
Cadila Pharmaceuticals has reiterated its commitment to patient safety following a recent regulatory communication concerning its Aciloc product range.
The company stated that the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) has always been clearly and prominently declared on the packaging and labels of all Aciloc products in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements.
Leading pharmaceutical player also informed that its scientific and regulatory teams are engaging with the relevant authorities and are reviewing the matter in detail.
Dr. Arani Chatterjee, President, Cadila Pharmaceuticals Limited, said, "Patient safety remains our highest priority. The active pharmaceutical ingredient is clearly stated on every Aciloc pack in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. We are working closely with the relevant authorities, extending our full cooperation and reviewing the matter carefully.
“We remain committed to ensuring continued confidence in the quality, safety and appropriate use of our medicines," Dr Chatterjee stressed..
Cadila Pharmaceuticals also clarified that Aciloc 150+ and Aciloc 300+ belong to the same therapeutic class of H2 receptor antagonists, with the respective active ingredients clearly identified on every product pack in compliance with regulatory requirements.
