Cipla appoints Ashish Adukia as Chief Executive Officer – API

Leadership changes strengthen API business and global finance function

Cipla has announced key leadership appointments with Ashish Adukia taking over as Chief Executive Officer – API.

Adukia, who previously served as Global Chief Financial Officer, will now lead Cipla's Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) business. In his new role, he will be responsible for driving the strategic and operational priorities of the API division to support the company's long-term growth objectives.

A seasoned finance leader, Adukia has played a significant role in strengthening Cipla's financial performance and strategic initiatives during his tenure as Global CFO.

With over 30 years of experience, Jain has held leadership responsibilities across strategic planning, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), accounting, taxation, treasury, business finance and corporate governance.

His appointment is expected to further strengthen Cipla's global finance function and support the company's continued growth and transformation.

As part of the leadership transition, Dinesh Jain has been elevated to the role of Global Chief Financial Officer and Key Managerial Personnel. Prior to this appointment, Jain served as Head – Corporate Finance at Cipla.
