The portfolio includes both oncology and non-oncology products, covering vials, lyophilised formulations, ampoules and pre-filled syringes

Gland Pharma has signed a strategic Manufacturing and Supply Agreement with a leading global pharmaceutical company, securing a long-term mandate to develop, manufacture and supply a portfolio of sterile injectable products across global markets.

The deal covers 55 SKUs across three manufacturing sites, with additional products potentially to be added. Once the full portfolio is commercialised, the agreement is expected to generate annualised revenue of about $90 million-$100 million, giving Gland Pharma significant long-term business visibility.

Revenue is expected to begin flowing from calendar year 2029, following technology-transfer activities planned for completion within two years.

The agreement strengthens Gland Pharma’s push into the contract development and manufacturing organisation (CDMO) business, positioning the company as an end-to-end partner for products spanning the pharmaceutical lifecycle—from development and technology transfer to commercial manufacturing and long-term supply.

The portfolio includes both oncology and non-oncology products, covering vials, lyophilised formulations, ampoules and pre-filled syringes. It includes both complex and conventional injectable formulations.

Under the full-service CDMO model, Gland Pharma will provide process development, scale-up, validation, manufacturing, quality and regulatory support, offering the global drugmaker a single integrated platform for its injectable portfolio.

The agreement covers both commercially marketed products and pipeline products still under development, potentially giving Gland Pharma a continuing role as products move through different stages of their lifecycle.

Srinivas Sadu, Executive Chairman, Gland Pharma Limited, said: "We are pleased to enter into this strategic collaboration. The partnership highlights the confidence global pharmaceutical companies place in Gland Pharma's development, technology transfer, manufacturing, and supply capabilities.

"The agreement provides meaningful long-term revenue visibility, supports expansion of our CDMO business, and creates a strong foundation for future growth. We remain committed to investing in the capabilities and capacity required to support our partner's evolving needs and ensure reliable supply to patients worldwide.”

The partnership marks another step in Gland Pharma’s expansion of its global CDMO franchise, particularly in sterile injectables, while adding a sizeable, multi-year revenue opportunity to its business pipeline.
