Summit happening on September 24 to bring together healthcare, pharma and biotech leaders to discuss GCCs, genomics, biotechnology and India’s evolving role in global life sciences
Healthark will host its flagship annual RISE Health Innovation Summit 2026 in Hyderabad on September 24, 2026, bringing together senior leaders from the pharmaceutical, healthcare and biotechnology sectors to discuss the priorities shaping India’s and the global life sciences ecosystem.
The summit will feature D. Sridhar Babu, Minister for Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, Industries & Commerce, and Legislative Affairs, Government of Telangana, who will deliver the keynote address. Ajit Reddy, CEO, Invest Telangana, will also participate, bringing policy and industry perspectives to discussions around healthcare and life sciences.
The event will open with a keynote focused on India’s healthcare future, followed by the launch of a book on India’s Global Capability Centre (GCC) opportunity, published by Healthark and co-authored with leaders from Opella, Roche, Novo Nordisk and Takeda.
The summit will subsequently feature dedicated discussions on the evolving role of GCCs, as well as emerging developments in genomics and biotechnology. The sessions are expected to examine how India’s position within the global life sciences ecosystem is shifting from an execution-focused market towards a hub for strategic capabilities, innovation and decision-making.
Among the speakers are John Dawber, Vice President & Managing Director – Global Business Services, India, Novo Nordisk; Chandani Palshetkar, Global Head of GCC Strategy & Services, Opella; Pawan Sachdeva, Senior Managing Director – Technology, Carelon Global Solutions; and Mahesh Natarajan, Senior Director – Research & Development, Thermo Fisher Scientific, along with other industry leaders.
Dr. Purav Gandhi, Founder & CEO, Healthark, said collaboration across the healthcare ecosystem would be central to driving innovation.
