Oval Fertility, a next-generation fertility platform combining reproductive science with technology, has launched its flagship clinic in Hyderabad, marking a major expansion in India’s rapidly growing fertility care sector.

 

Founded by entrepreneur Veena Reddy along with internationally recognised IVF expert Dr. Brian Levine, Oval positions itself as a science-led, patient-centred platform built to address rising demand for fertility services driven by delayed parenthood, lifestyle changes, stress-related factors, and growing awareness of reproductive health.

 

At the core of the new Hyderabad facility is the introduction of Astec Chrono, an advanced embryo incubation system from Japan. 

 

The technology is designed to closely replicate natural developmental conditions while enabling continuous embryo monitoring without disturbing growth environments—supporting more precise clinical decision-making.

 

The flagship centre is built at scale, featuring 6 embryology workstations, 7 suites, and 5 recovery rooms referred to as “Sanctuaries.” It is designed to handle approximately 800 fertility cycles annually and brings together a multidisciplinary team of 3 fertility specialists, 3 embryologists, and dedicated clinical support staff across diagnostics, reproductive medicine, and care coordination.

 

Oval’s leadership team includes Dr. Brian Levine as Founding Medical Advisor, Dr. Sandeep Karunakaran as Medical Director with over 30 years of experience, and Dr. Keerthana Vemula, a reproductive endocrinologist with more than 12 years in fertility care. 

 

The platform was co-founded by Veena Reddy, whose personal experience has shaped Oval’s emphasis on empathetic, patient-focused treatment journeys.
