Over 700 exhibitors from APAC, Europe, the US, and beyond showcased the latest in personal care innovation
in-cosmetics Asia delivered its most influential edition yet, attracting an unprecedented mix of global beauty leaders, C-suite executives, celebrity entrepreneurs, and Asian A-listers.
The 2025 event in Singapore shattered attendance records, drawing 14,383 unique visitors—a 10 per cent increase from last year—with 40 per cent traveling from overseas. Over 700 exhibitors from APAC, Europe, the US, and beyond showcased the latest in personal care innovation.
The event featured heavyweights including Proya Cosmetics’ Founder Hou Juncheng, Shiseido’s Yoshiaki Okabe, and celebrity founders Raisa Andriana (Raine Beauty), Chayadhorn Kitiyadisai (Ing CK), and Kadek Maharani Kemala Dewi (MS Glow).
Global giants L’Oréal, Unilever, P&G, Pierre-Fabre, and Estée Lauder joined forces with regional powerhouses Srichand, Paragon, Meiyume, and The Martha Tilaar Group to explore the future of APAC’s beauty ingredients industry.
Chayadhorn Kitiyadisai described the show as “my favourite event of the year,” praising its deep dive into cutting-edge ingredients and discussions with top chemists and formulators.
The three-day program delivered a powerhouse lineup of market forecasts, technical breakthroughs, and ingredient-focused insights.
Highlights included L’Oréal’s keynote on “Skin Longevity,” Guangzhou Reachin Chemical’s deep dive into polymer thickeners, and BEAUTYSTREAMS’ preview of 2026 trends across skincare, haircare, colour, and wellness. Sessions spanned ethical and halal beauty, Southeast Asian consumer trends, K-Beauty suncare innovations, AI in R&D, scalp-to-skin protection, and post-procedure skincare, alongside hands-on formulation labs.
Biotech-driven beauty dominated the Spotlight on Biotech Beauty zone, featuring nearly 40 breakthrough products. Solabia Group took the prestigious Spotlight on Formulation Gold Award for Serenibiome, a patented active targeting skin sensitivity and the itch-scratch cycle.
Innovation awards also reached new heights with 120 new ingredients submitted—the most ever. Singapore-based ArrowBiome won Gold for ArcherZyme, the world’s first clinically validated lysin for body odour control. Momentive Performance Materials earned Gold in Functionals for Harmonie NatuVel Gel.
New this year, the “Ask the Experts” interactive sessions gave attendees personalised guidance on formulation, product development, green chemistry, sustainability, regulations, and digital marketing.
Sarah Gibson, Event Director, said: “This year’s in-cosmetics Asia has been truly momentous. With over 21,000 visits and a 69% increase in full three-day attendance, the energy and engagement were remarkable. The show continues to bridge innovation, technology, and marketing like no other, and we’re already planning even more for next year.”
in-cosmetics Asia 2025 has cemented its status as APAC’s flagship event for personal care ingredients, innovation, and trendsetting in the global beauty ecosystem.
