New formulation by Greenspace Herbs to target improved efficacy and lower dosage in curcumin supplements
Bengaluru-based Greenspace Herbs has introduced Curcumin QA, positioned as a quantum-enhanced curcumin formulation aimed at improving absorption and delivery.
The product is developed under the company’s proprietary Quantum Ayurveda platform, which integrates concepts from physics and artificial intelligence to modify the behaviour of herbal actives.
Curcumin, the primary bioactive compound in turmeric, has been widely studied for its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. However, conventional formulations have struggled to deliver consistent outcomes due to poor systemic uptake.
Greenspace Herbs’ approach uses a technology platform termed EASI (Energised Active Supplement Ingredients), which applies processes such as resonance loading and lattice locking to enhance the bioavailability of curcumin. The company claims this enables lower dosing, improved onset and better tolerability compared to standard extracts.
According to Shafiulla Hirehal Nuruddin, the focus has been on improving delivery efficiency rather than increasing dosage, with the aim of enabling more consistent outcomes for consumers.
The launch comes amid broader efforts to move India’s herbal sector up the value chain. While India remains a major supplier of Ayurvedic raw materials globally, it accounts for a relatively small share of value-added formulations.
Curcumin QA has been evaluated by supplement manufacturers in the US and Europe, and was showcased at SupplySide Global 2025. The product is currently available in India through B2B partnerships and select direct-to-consumer nutraceutical brands.
The development also aligns with the Government of India’s National Quantum Mission, which aims to support quantum research and innovation across sectors. Greenspace Herbs plans to expand its Quantum Ayurveda portfolio with additional products in 2026, including formulations targeting cognitive health and women’s health.
