Lupin Limited has introduced Formoflo-G MDI in India, marking the global debut of a fixed-dose, triple-combination metered-dose inhaler (MDI) tailored for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) management. Authorized by the Drug Controller General of India (DCGI), this therapeutic milestone considerably broadens treatment modalities and upgrades care standards for individuals navigating COPD.
Lupin Formoflo-G is a first-of-its-kind MDI that combines Glycopyrronium Bromide, Formoterol Fumarate and Fluticasone Propionate for the long-term management and treatment of moderate to severe COPD. The product is available as a twice-daily, single-strength fixed dose, bringing hope to more than 55 million people living with COPD in India, a condition that remains a leading cause of death and disability.
