New Delhi facility expands Lupin’s specialized neuro-rehabilitation network after Mumbai and Hyderabad launches
Lupin Limited has launched Atharv Ability, its advanced neuro-rehabilitation centre in Delhi’s Naraina Vihar, strengthening its presence in specialized neurological recovery and rehabilitation care in India.
The new facility is designed to provide comprehensive, multidisciplinary, and outcome-driven care for both adults and children living with neurological disabilities, focusing on improving mobility, enhancing quality of life, and supporting long-term recovery.
Atharv Ability will cater to a broad spectrum of neurological conditions, including stroke, traumatic brain injury, spinal cord injury, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, and pediatric neurological disorders such as cerebral palsy.
The Delhi launch follows the successful rollout of Atharv Ability centres in Mumbai in 2023 and Hyderabad in 2024, as Lupin continues to build a nationwide network of specialized neuro-rehabilitation facilities amid rising demand for integrated recovery-focused care.
Commenting on the launch, Rajeev Sibal said, “As advances in neurological treatment continue to improve outcomes, rehabilitation offers a powerful opportunity to restore independence and enable meaningful recovery. Atharv Ability embodies this belief that healthcare must extend beyond treatment to sustained recovery, with personalized, patient-focused care. This expansion underscores our belief that high-quality neurorehabilitation must be accessible, affordable, and standardized across India.”
The centre combines advanced rehabilitation technologies with multidisciplinary clinical expertise to deliver personalized therapy programs tailored to individual patient needs.
Atharv Ability integrates end-effector robotics for gait and hand training, AI-enabled balance and postural-control systems, and a wide range of therapies including neuro-physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and swallowing therapy, cognitive-behavioral therapy, aqua therapy, visual rehabilitation, and virtual reality-based rehabilitation.
With neurological disorders and post-stroke disabilities emerging as a growing healthcare burden in India, Lupin’s expansion into specialized rehabilitation reflects the increasing focus on long-term recovery, functional independence, and quality-of-life outcomes beyond acute medical treatment.
