Lupin partners with LABORATORIOS ERN to launch Luforbec in Spain

Collaboration combines Lupin’s inhaler manufacturing capabilities with ERN’s strong commercial presence to expand access to respiratory care

Pharma major Lupin Limited has announced a strategic collaboration with LABORATORIOS ERN S.A. for the launch of Luforbec (beclometasone/formoterol) 100/6 in Spain. 

The product is a fixed-dose combination therapy delivered through a pressurized metered-dose inhaler (pMDI) and is indicated for the treatment of adult asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).

Luforbec combines beclometasone dipropionate, an inhaled corticosteroid, with formoterol fumarate, a long-acting bronchodilator, providing a treatment option for patients requiring maintenance therapy for asthma and COPD.

The launch follows the successful introduction of Luforbec® in other key European markets, including the United Kingdom and Germany, further strengthening Lupin’s respiratory franchise across the region.
