Mankind Pharma Q1 FY27 revenue crosses Rs. 4,000 crore, PAT surges 29% to Rs. 574 crore

Consolidated revenue from operations rises 13%, while profit before tax jumps 42% on strong operational performance


Mankind Pharma Limited reported robust financial performance for the first quarter of FY27, with consolidated net profit rising 29.1% year-on-year and revenue posting double-digit growth, driven by strong operational momentum across its businesses.

For the quarter ended June 30, 2026, the company reported consolidated revenue from operations of Rs. 4,030.59 crore, an increase of 12.9% over Rs. 3,570.35 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.

Total consolidated income rose 11.7% year-on-year to Rs. 4,075.59 crore, while profit before tax (PBT) surged 42.4% to Rs. 769.45 crore, compared with Rs. 540.49 crore in Q1 FY26.

Profit after tax (PAT) climbed 29.1% to Rs. 574.09 crore, up from Rs. 444.62 crore a year earlier. Profit attributable to the company's equity shareholders stood at Rs. 568.06 crore, while non-controlling interests contributed Rs. 6.03 crore.

Total consolidated expenses increased to Rs. 3,310.08 crore from Rs. 3,112.91 crore in the year-ago quarter. Employee benefit expenses stood at Rs. 913.50 crore, while raw material and component costs were Rs. 684.85 crore.

The company reported total comprehensive income of Rs. 553.78 crore, compared with Rs. 443.86 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.

On a standalone basis, revenue from operations grew 15.4% year-on-year to Rs. 2,964.05 crore, while total income increased to Rs. 2,998.01 crore.

Standalone profit before tax jumped 52.5% to Rs. 756.57 crore, while net profit after tax rose 34.5% to Rs. 558.49 crore, compared with Rs. 415.27 crore in Q1 FY26.

Standalone total expenses stood at Rs. 2,241.44 crore during the quarter.

The company's basic earnings per share (EPS) on a consolidated basis increased to Rs. 13.76, compared with Rs. 10.62 in the year-ago period, while standalone basic EPS rose to Rs. 13.53 from Rs. 10.06.

Mankind Pharma also reported an improvement in key financial ratios. Its debt-to-equity ratio improved to 0.25x as of June 30, 2026, from 0.48x a year earlier, while the interest service coverage ratio strengthened to 8.61x from 3.89x.
