Novo Medi Sciences aims to reach millions nationwide and provide NEXIPOX PLUS vaccination against chickenpox to thousands of underprivileged girl children

Novo Medi Sciences (Novo Group) has rolled out G.A.U.R.I. (Generating Awareness on Underprivileged Girls’ Right to Immunization)—a nationwide, awareness-led vaccination initiative aimed at ensuring underprivileged girl children across India do not miss their right to immunization.

Positioned as a people-powered public health movement, G.A.U.R.I. hinges on a simple act with far-reaching impact: a missed call. The campaign is anchored in a clear conviction—“Protecting a girl child’s health should never depend on privilege, geography, or circumstance.” By dialing 9555-466-000 and disconnecting, citizens can participate in a cost-free action designed to convert awareness into on-ground preventive care.

At the conclusion of the campaign, Novo Medi Sciences aims to reach millions nationwide and provide NEXIPOX PLUS vaccination against chickenpox to thousands of underprivileged girl children.

In a country where access to preventive healthcare is often constrained by awareness and reach rather than intent, G.A.U.R.I. seeks to bridge that gap. The missed-call mechanism ensures participation across languages, regions, and socio-economic backgrounds, turning collective public engagement into tangible immunization outcomes. Each missed call amplifies the message of timely vaccination and supports Novo Medi Sciences’ commitment to expanding access for vulnerable communities.

The missed-call awareness phase began on 24th January 26 (National Girl Child Day) and will continue until 30th March 26, underscoring the campaign’s focus on sustained engagement rather than a one-day observance. Impact and reach will be monitored via a dedicated microsite featuring a live counter of missed calls.

Participants receive a thank-you voice message and SMS with a link to the microsite, reinforcing transparency and the cumulative power of individual actions.

Sharing her perspective on the campaign, Forum Bhagat, Managing Director, Novo Medi Sciences Pvt Ltd. (Novo Group), said, “G.A.U.R.I. reflects Novo Medi Sciences’ belief that sustainable public health impact is built through awareness, intent, and collective participation, often through simple, accessible actions. Expanding on the free vaccination drive for underprivileged girls conducted last year, the initiative is now scaling up into a nationwide mission.

"Its distinct strength lies in inclusivity, enabling citizens to contribute not through financial support or decision-making, but by amplifying awareness and facilitating access. By bringing together thousands of small individual actions, G.A.U.R.I. demonstrates how collective participation can create meaningful momentum and support long-term preventive healthcare outcomes.”
