EBITDA rises 39%, adjusted PAT jumps 72%; biologics CDMO business expands with new global biosimilar customer
OneSource Specialty Pharma Limited reported a strong financial performance for the first quarter of FY27, with revenue increasing 37% year-on-year to Rs. 4,490 million, driven by the commercialisation of semaglutide in Canada and India and continued momentum in its biologics business.
The company posted EBITDA of Rs. 1,233 million, up 39% YoY, with the EBITDA margin improving to 27.5% from 27.0% in the corresponding quarter last year and 21.5% in Q4 FY26.
Adjusted Profit After Tax (PAT) rose 72% year-on-year to Rs. 637 million, while adjusted earnings per share (EPS)increased 71% to Rs. 5.6. On a sequential basis, revenue grew 5%, EBITDA increased 34%, and adjusted PAT climbed 63% over the previous quarter.
Neeraj Sharma, CEO & Managing Director, OneSource Specialty Pharma Limited, said, "We have started FY27 on a strong note, delivering robust growth in revenue and EBITDA, driven by commercialisation of semaglutide in Canada and India."
He added that the company is set to commence commercial operations of its second cartridge manufacturing lineduring the second quarter of FY27, marking a key milestone in its capacity expansion strategy.
Sharma also said the company's biologics business continued to gain momentum with the addition of another leading global biosimilar customer during the quarter, reinforcing the strength of OneSource's integrated contract development and manufacturing (CDMO) capabilities and supporting its long-term growth strategy.
