Revenue from operations climbs to Rs. 653.2 crore as pharmaceutical major posts healthy profit growth in the June quarter
Pfizer Limited reported an 8.3% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations to Rs. 653.17 crore for the first quarter ended June 30, 2026, compared with Rs. 603.05 crore in the corresponding quarter last year.
Net profit rose 6.6% to Rs. 204.47 crore from Rs. 191.75 crore in Q1 FY26, reflecting steady operational performance.
Total income for the quarter stood at Rs. 698.01 crore, up from Rs. 670.22 crore a year earlier, while total expenses increased marginally to Rs. 421.33 crore from Rs. 410.69 crore.
Profit before tax improved to Rs. 276.68 crore, compared with Rs. 259.53 crore in the year-ago period.
The company reported earnings per share (EPS) of Rs. 44.69, up from Rs. 41.91 in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal.
Pfizer's Board of Directors approved the unaudited financial results for the quarter ended June 30, 2026, at its meeting held on July 28, 2026.
The results were reviewed by the Audit Committee and subjected to a limited review by the statutory auditors, who issued an unmodified review report.
