The company’s acquisition of a 51 per cent stake in Saarathi Healthcare earlier this financial year boosted growth
QMS Medical Allied Services Limited reported a 31.65 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs.3.15 crore for the quarter ended June 30, 2025, compared to Rs.2.39 crore in the same period last year, driven by entry into the hospital supplies segment. Consolidated operating income rose 54.61 per cent to Rs.46.81 crore from Rs.30.47 crore, while EBITDA increased 34.09 per cent to Rs.4.48 crore from Rs.3.34 crore.
The company’s acquisition of a 51 per cent stake in Saarathi Healthcare earlier this financial year boosted growth. Saarathi is a pioneer in patient and disease management services, market access, and phygital solutions.
“We have been witnessing a good traction in demand for patient and disease management services in the market and our acquisition of Saarathi Healthcare has helped us leverage this segment. This has helped shore our topline in the last quarter. We believe our firm emphasis on the existing lines of businesses and foray into new segments will help drive growth in topline and bottomline moving forward,” said Mahesh Makhija, Founder, Chairman & Managing Director, QMS Medical Allied Services Limited.
“We see a huge potential for growth in the hospital supplies business and we are looking to move into newer geographies to tap into the potential of this segment. We have also implemented sustained cost-reduction strategies which has helped boost our margins,” he added.
QMS recently became the first healthcare vendor listed on the E-Grameen portal, a government-supported digital initiative aimed at boosting rural commerce through over 5.5 lakh Common Service Centre Village Level Entrepreneurs (VLEs). This collaboration will enable QMS to supply physiotherapy and orthopaedic aids, wellness essentials, and other healthcare products directly to underserved rural areas.
