Former Sai Life Sciences executive to lead chemical development and strengthen Syngene's R&D capabilities


Syngene International Ltd. has appointed Sreenivasulu Bandaru as Head, Chemical Development, strengthening its leadership team as the company continues to expand its research and development capabilities.

Bandaru joins Syngene from Sai Life Sciences Ltd., where he built an extensive leadership career spanning process research and development, chemical development and scientific innovation. Most recently, he served as Vice President – Global Head, Process Development (India & UK).

During his tenure at Sai Life Sciences, he held several leadership positions, including Vice President – Head, Process Research & Development (India), Associate Vice President – PR&D, Senior Director – Process R&D, Director – Process Research & Development, Associate Director – Process R&D and Principal Scientist – Process R&D.

Before joining Sai Life Sciences, Bandaru worked at Albany Molecular Research, where he served as Senior Research Scientist-1 and Senior Research Scientist.

With extensive expertise in chemical development, process research, innovation and scientific leadership, Bandaru is expected to play a key role in advancing Syngene's chemical development capabilities and supporting the company's next phase of growth in contract research, development and manufacturing services (CRDMO).
