Six-day residential programme will provide researchers, policymakers and industry professionals with comprehensive training in vaccine development, clinical trials, regulatory approvals, manufacturing and quality compliance

BRIC-Translational Health Science and Technology Institute (BRIC-THSTI), in partnership with the Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI), has announced the third edition of its Advanced Course in Vaccinology (TIVaC).

The course is scheduled to take place from October 26 to 31, 2026, at the M.K. Bhan Auditorium Complex, NCR Biotech Science Cluster, Faridabad, Haryana.

The six-day residential programme is designed to provide participants with a comprehensive understanding of the key concepts and stages involved in vaccine design, development and commercialisation.

The course will combine expert lectures with panel discussions, interactive sessions and visits to specialised research facilities.

The programme will cover the complete vaccine development pathway, from early-stage research to clinical development, regulatory approval and manufacturing.

Key areas will include global vaccine development, vaccine biology and immunology, pre-clinical studies, clinical trial design and management, regulatory approvals and licensure, as well as manufacturing and quality compliance.

The course will feature domain experts from academia, industry, non-governmental organisations, the World Health Organization, the World Bank and CEPI.

Applications can be submitted free of charge through the designated online application form. Submissions will be jointly screened by domain experts from CEPI and BRIC-THSTI, with selected applicants notified by email.

Confirmed Indian participants will be required to pay a course fee of Rs. 5,000, while other foreign participants will pay USD 150. LMIC participants sponsored by CEPI will not be required to pay the course fee.

THSTI will cover travel, visa and accommodation costs for eligible participants from low- and middle-income countries sponsored by CEPI. Indian and other foreign participants will need to arrange their own travel, visa and accommodation, although THSTI will provide the necessary supporting documents.

The application deadline is August 29, 2026, with applicants expected to receive intimation by September 10. Selected participants will then have seven days to confirm their participation.

The course is coordinated by the IndCEPI, BRIC-THSTI team and supported by CEPI. Queries related to the programme can be directed to thstivac@thsti.res.in.
