Akumentis Healthcare appoints Dharnendra Doshi as Senior Vice President

Veteran consumer health and FMCG strategist to lead preventive wellness and nutrition portfolio expansion through innovation and modern trade channels

Akumentis Healthcare Ltd. has appointed Dharnendra Doshi as Senior Vice President to lead the company’s preventive wellness and nutritional brand portfolio.

Based in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region, Doshi will focus on building credible, high-volume consumer health brands while leveraging modern retail and digital channels to accelerate innovation-led market growth.

A seasoned consumer health and FMCG business strategist with more than two decades of commercial experience, Doshi joins Akumentis Healthcare with deep expertise in brand building, organized trade, e-commerce pharma frameworks, and multi-channel distribution ecosystems.

Before joining Akumentis Healthcare, he was a Founding Member at a stealth consumer venture focused on next-generation consumer brands. Earlier, he served as Director of Consumer Business at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, where he played a key role in scaling multiple brands from concept to market leadership.

Doshi also spent nearly a decade at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, rising to the position of Senior General Manager. During his tenure, he established the company’s modern trade channel and led several high-profile Rx-to-OTC switches in the dermatology segment.

Over the course of his career, he has also held leadership roles at ADF FOODS LTD., Tilda Riceland Pvt. Ltd., Desai Foods Pvt Ltd - Mother's Recipe and Aditya Birla Fashion and Retail Ltd - Pantaloons, contributing significantly to retail expansion, key account management, and consumer business growth.
