Alembic appoints Ramesh Juneja as Executive Vice President – Human Health for India business

Juneja brings more than three decades of experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing


Alembic Pharmaceuticals has announced the appointment of Ramesh Juneja as Executive Vice President – Human Health (Sales and Marketing) for its India business, strengthening its leadership team as it looks to accelerate growth in the domestic market.

Juneja brings more than three decades of experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, with a strong track record across both acute and chronic therapy segments. Over the years, he has built and scaled large commercial operations and led high-performance teams in highly competitive markets.

He has held senior leadership roles at major pharma companies, including Sun Pharmaceutical Industries and Cipla, where he played a key role in driving business growth, expanding market presence, strengthening commercial execution, and building robust sales and marketing organizations across multiple therapy areas.

Before joining Alembic, Juneja founded Ramesh Juneja Business Advisory and co-founded BJW Health Pvt. Ltd. He also served as Senior Vice President at Reliance Retail, where he led the pan-India rollout of the Netmeds B2B business and Netmeds Express stores.

Academically, he holds a pharmacy degree from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University and an MBA from Symbiosis International University. He has also completed executive development programs at the Indian School of Business and the National University of Singapore.
