Anshuman Rai appointed Associate Vice President at Emcure Pharmaceuticals

Anshuman Rai has been appointed Associate Vice President at Emcure Pharmaceuticals Limited, marking a significant advancement in his career spanning more than 16 years across regulatory affairs and corporate affairs.

Rai brings extensive experience across pharmaceuticals, medical devices, biologics, diagnostics and cosmetics, with expertise in regulatory strategy, market authorisations, stakeholder engagement and navigating complex regulatory and business requirements.

Prior to joining Emcure Pharmaceuticals, Rai served as Deputy General Manager at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Senior Manager – Regulatory Affairs at MSD, Senior Manager – Corporate Relations at Sun Pharma, Corporate Affairs Manager at Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, and Technical Data Associate at the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO).

His experience across regulatory, corporate and government-facing functions has given him a broad understanding of the pharmaceutical sector and its evolving regulatory landscape. 

In his new role at Emcure Pharmaceuticals, he is expected to leverage this experience to support the company's strategic regulatory and corporate affairs initiatives.
