Mehta brings strong leadership experience in biopharmaceuticals, life science research, and diagnostics
Bio-Rad Laboratories, a global leader in life science research and clinical diagnostics, announced that Rajat Mehta has been appointed Executive Vice President, Global Commercial Operations, effective August 4, 2025. Mehta will lead Bio-Rad’s global commercial strategy, replacing Mike Crowley, who is retiring after 26 years with the company.
Mehta brings strong leadership experience in biopharmaceuticals, life science research, and diagnostics. He previously worked at Labcorp as Senior Vice President for the West Division. Before that, he was Vice President and General Manager of Applied Technologies at Thermo Fisher Scientific, managing a global business unit.
Earlier, he held commercial roles at Dow Chemical, focusing on growth strategies. Mehta holds an MBA from The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania, and a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Kurukshetra University in India.
