Former Global Head of IT & Digital Transformation at Biocon Biologics steps into enterprise-wide technology leadership role
Biocon has appointed Mandar Ghatnekar as its new Chief Technology Officer (CTO), strengthening the company’s leadership in digital innovation and enterprise technology.
Ghatnekar takes on the new role after serving as Global Head of IT & Digital Transformation at Biocon Biologics, where he led enterprise-wide digital initiatives and accelerated the adoption of emerging technologies to improve operational efficiency and patient outcomes.
With over two decades of experience in digital transformation and enterprise technology, Ghatnekar brings a strong track record of building scalable technology capabilities and delivering complex transformation programs.
Prior to joining Biocon, he held leadership positions at Accenture and Johnson & Johnson, gaining extensive expertise across cloud, data, and life sciences technology.
His appointment comes at a time when life sciences companies are increasingly investing in digital platforms, data-driven decision-making, and next-generation technology infrastructure to enhance innovation and global competitiveness.
