Biological E appoints V Krishnakumar as CEO of Biopharma CDMO

He will lead the development of the company’s global biopharmaceutical CDMO platform spanning vaccines, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), recombinant proteins and mRNA therapeutics.

Biological E. Limited has appointed V Krishnakumar (KK) as Chief Executive Officer – Biopharma CDMO.

He will lead the development of the company’s global biopharmaceutical CDMO platform spanning vaccines, antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), monoclonal antibodies (mAbs), recombinant proteins and mRNA therapeutics.

Krishnakumar joins Biological E. with extensive experience across life sciences strategy, CDMO, investment banking, M&A and business transformation. He previously served as Executive Director & COO at ERIS Lifesciences and Partner, Lifesciences Investment Banking at EY.

Earlier, he was Executive Director, Lifesciences Investment Banking at Avendus Capital and President – Strategy at Piramal Pharma Solutions. He began his career with McKinsey & Company as an Engagement Manager.

His appointment comes as Biological E. seeks to expand its global biopharmaceutical CDMO capabilities and strengthen its presence across emerging and advanced therapeutic platforms.
