Former Interim CEO takes charge to drive strategic growth, strengthen clinical excellence, and advance patient-centric oncology innovation
Dharmendra Singh Gangwar has been named Chief Executive Officer of Rajiv Gandhi Cancer Institute and Research Centre after serving as the institution’s Interim CEO.
In his expanded leadership role, he will oversee strategic operations, further strengthen clinical excellence, and accelerate patient-centric innovation at one of India’s leading cancer care institutions. His appointment underscores leadership continuity and a sustained commitment to advancing oncology services and research excellence.
A seasoned administrator with an accomplished track record spanning government and corporate governance, Dr. Gangwar has served in several senior roles across the Ministry of Home Affairs, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, and the Government of Bihar.
He also holds leadership and advisory positions with organizations including Transrail Lighting Limited, Lalbaba Engineering, Indian Beverage Association, Duncan Engineering Limited, Marcellus Investment Managers, and Paisalo Digital Limited, bringing deep expertise in public policy, governance, and institutional leadership.
